The humble bumble bee.
This was one of the first photos I took where I thought wow I really enjoy Photography. For me, since then it has been my escape. Getting behind the camera searching for that "Wow" photo.
This photo was taken just after I started my first photography course with the Photography Institute and was submitted as one of my assignments.
Since graduating my journey has been a little scattered. Always wanting to start my own business but never having the confidence or the people in my life willing to give me the boost in confidence I needed. Then I had my daughter. The desire to make her proud and give her someone to look up to has been the biggest motivator to me.
The natural progression to teaching has started suddenly but has grown from a need to give beginner photographers the tools I wish I had available to me when I was starting out. That is where my photography quick reference cards come in. Hours of work has gone into designing them, testing them out and then perfecting the delivery. I am so proud of them and can't wait to get started on my next photography teaching tool.
I am proud to launch my website which has been a work in progress on and off for a number of years. Nothing will motivate you or change your life as much as a child especially when you are a single parent.
I hope you enjoy my site and work as much as I have enjoyed bringing it to life.
